In 2015, Western Europeans spent €8.0 billion on home video, up from €7.5 billion in 2014. Consumer spending on purchasing physical discs in 2015 was €4.6 billion, this is €2.8 billion less than Western Europeans spent on DVDs and BDs in 2010 (€7.4 billion).
